Another Weekend in Bremerton

I had to run to Bremerton this weekend, Brandee's Family had come to play... and Sage and Tara's sister. I forget how loud kids are.... but we played american idol on the we and all had a great time. I was excited about Saturday morning... I picked up Mary and we ran out to Material Girls... Did someone say "a hole in the pocketbook".... I forgot how expensive material is. We had a great time, and now I am going to be forced to applique.hmmmm, I will have to pull out the books and light I got for my birthday....I spent time with Mom and grandma, we mostly just worked on our new project. Thanks MOM for all your help in applique...I am afraid I will need lots of help.... but my first circle did pretty good. I love you all... I need to rest.

What a weekend...

I had a nice weekend, I drove to Bremerton on Friday and Mom and I went to a theater and I was able to get there in time to have a little dinner... Thanks mom, I am glad you were well enough to go out.
Then I had a shiatsu appointment. and lost a little money gambling, then came home and shopped for my mom and cut her hair. then I went to a movie "he just not that into you", pretty funny lots of stars.

Then on Sunday I went to the grocery store and got things to make mom and grandma lunch, and washed my car. the I came home, I was planning on meeting Bradley and Alison for dinner, but they were busy, so I just came to Joe's and did my laundry for the week.

Then I got a phone call from my Very Very good friend Cherie (Remember MOM from Portland)
Her husband had passed away two days before Christmas. I cried that I wasn't there for her, I am happy she has wonderful family that surrounded her. (That is not me though) So as soon as she has a day or two I will drive down to see her. She needs all her friends. We updated all our information... So no reason not to be able to contact each other.

Painting My Room....

More pictures of Miraval.... I took a rest by the pool, a pool with saline water, with nutrients for your skin, then a hot tub....I look up and see these palm trees .... it was very beautiful... and I hadn't been in the desert before... so that was new... after my photo class, I had to walk around the resort to find the beauty of the desert..... More pictures to follow in the days ahead of all the beauty I have found....I loved it...
Our rooms were luxurious... the beds had feather down comforters on the bottom and top.... sooo soft..everything was perfect.

This picture is when we were waiting for our ride at the airport... did I mention that they came to pick us up at the airport... about an hour away.

Looking up from the pool again...
Ok Back to my day I am in full swing at work... I went to another tour plant... this time at (maybe I shouldn't say the name....) they showed us how they came up with new products and we got to meet thier scientist...and taste the new things they were creating for the next couple of seasons.... I love this part of my work... creating new things that are healthier and better for us...then I came home to Joe and Linda's and put another coat of paint on my wall... it is beautiful!!! It will go really well with my lavender... and other things I own... I miss you all.... But doing great!!!

Miravil

What a great VACATION!!! Linda and I flew down to Tucson Arizona, to one of the nicest Spa Resorts in the United States.... And it was, It was all about well being, Mindfulness, finding yourself.
They offered many Hikes, Program, classes....from cooking healthy to rock climbing, yoga meditation.... anything you can think of, OH, did I mention all the spa treatments, like facials,
thai Massage, body scrubs.... endless things to make you feel better.
We also took a class called Sunset Photo Walk.... where we learned a little more about our camera's and and then took a walk as the sun set on the Santa Catalina Mountains in the desert area... WOW... I had lots of fun that evening....I got some great pictures, I can't possible put them all on my blog now... but when I post in the future I will add one or two...

We took a class called The Miraval Equine Experience, Wyatt (Who is the cowboy in this Picture and writen a couple of books) It was interesting to see how the horses responded to us and how they could tell us how we are in real life... very interesting.

The Pool... No need to say more... except it was in the 70's...:)

Every meal was delicious... and just the right portions..
