End of Summer

Hi Everyone. I can't believe this is the end of August Already. I took a couple of weeks off work. To celebrate my birthday and be with family and friends. I have been able to be home to take mom to a Dr. appointment, she will be going to UW for her surgery, because of all the things she needs fixed she is a pretty high risk. They want to have everything they need for every emergency that may occur. We are all happy about that, they will be taking very good care of her.
Madison has been with me this first week, and we have really just been hanging out with Mom and Aunt Susie and anyone else who happens by.
I have accomplished a few things. One, I finished my civil war quilt and brought it in to the quilters at Material girls....Yeah!!!! That was a big accomplishment for me. Also I got down another unfinished project from my project boxes, and took out a lot of it and put it back together, it has a lot of applique on it and will take a lot to finish, so it may be a good project to carry with me.
More Later...Kimberly
