Redmond Farmers Market

Yesterday we went to the farmers market in Redmond. They had the most beautiful flowers, and I bought some sweet peas. They had kettle corn made the right way. Lots of fresh vegetables and arts, it was great, then we went to Bellevue to the Bellevue Art
Fair, It was amazing I could have spent 3 days there, but I only got a few hours, I really brings back the desire to be creative. I miss those days when we taught painting and sold our things at fairs around the holidays... what fun was that.I might have to get my painting supplys out and start playing again.I think when I do I will play in watercolor, I just seem to be attracted to everything watercolor.
And pencil and chalk drawings also, I just love it. Maybe in some way I could combine the two... maybe not????
Anyway we ended the day by going to this wonderful restaruant Maggiano's, It is a very nice restaruant in downtown Bellevue. Italian Food, they had the best house salad I had ever tasted and I had a great ravioli dish also. The food was amazing.
Then we came home to rest....
Joe Called yesterday, he is coming back home today so I might have to blog again later. We are all happy Joe is coming home. It just doesn't seem right with people missing. Not to mention he has special gifts for everyone. EVEN ME!! YEAH!!! He was able to find some places to go where he could get designer thing for really cheap so he said he got Linda and I watches and purses, WOW!!! They kids were told they each get 4 gifts, that was enought to send them spinning with excitement. I am sure he will have lots of stories to share about his experiences. Linda would like to go to China for 6 months ( all expences paid) that is what they offered Joe, if they would come back for a bit... even private schools for the kids.. I think Joe said NO but you know how persuasive Linda can be, we will see what happens.
Grandma...Besides thinking of you when I was at the Farmers Market, knowing you love sweet peas and kettle corn.... I had an offer to go to Miraval, I know you will know about this, It is one of Oprah's favorite places, that she took 50 of her friends?
Do you know what I am talking about... It is a spa resort in Arizona with amazingly healthy things to do and see, great food, and classes on health and well being. Along with really great spa treatments. We are trying to get a spot, because normally it is over a thousand dollars a night, we are offered it at 199.00 each night with the same great services, all food and classes included, and one free spa treatment a day. I hope we can make it happen, it is still in the works.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST FOR SURE, AUNT MARY'S BIRTHDAY PARTY AUGUST 2... I am in full planning mode, I have a few more gifts to get and I will worry about the food a little closer to the party. Can't wait to see everyone next weekend, I miss you all!
